Yom HaShoah (יום השואה)

The sun is going down, bringing a close to

Yom HaShoah

also known as

Holocaust Remembrance Day.

It is worth noting that the full name of this day of remembering is

Yom HaZikaron laShoah ve-laG'vurah

or

Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day.

While the Jewish people solemnly remember the

millions of innocent lives that were taken;

they also honor the heroes of that time . . .

Those courageous souls that stood and fought in the Warsaw Ghetto and those that risked their lives to save others.

Let's follow their example and remember them both.
